Test and Tune action is over at the West Michigan Sand Dragway’s 3rd Annual Pro Truck Nationals. Low E.T. of the day was run by Scott Schyett in the Bad Frog Funny Car. Schyett ran a 2.98 on his last pass of the evening after carding a 3.21 earlier in the day. Three competitors in the Fastest 4X4 Shootout participated in the Test and Tune Session; Gary Vereeke ran a 3.40 in his “Turbulence” Blown Ford Truck with Brian McWethy running a 3.44 in his Jeep Funny Car, and Earl Lentner struggling with his Chevy Truck to some 3.8 passes.

Several Pro Truck competitors took opportunity of the Test and Tune session to ready themselves for the big race. Rich Simon, Jim Brantley, Ben Dozeman, Nick Disselkoen, Dave DeBoer, and Dave Stinson were among the Michigan Pro Truck entries testing while Dan Wies (MissourI) and Mike Ellington (Ohio) also made passes with their Jeeps. Racing action starts in the morning. Video and a few pics are posted below.
